About the Role
Rivaz Inc. is seeking an experienced Geology Coordinator to provide technical and operational leadership across our mineral exploration programs.
Reporting to the Exploration Manager – Brazil, this role will coordinate project-level geological activities, support exploration strategy implementation, supervise geological teams, and integrate geological, geochemical, geophysical, and structural datasets to support target generation and reduce geological risk.

What You’ll Do
✅ Plan and coordinate geological mapping, sampling, and drilling programs
✅ Supervise soil, rock, and channel geochemical sampling activities
✅ Coordinate drilling campaigns, including drill-hole planning and technical oversight
✅ Develop and maintain integrated geological models and interpretive sections
✅ Generate, evaluate, and prioritize exploration targets
✅ Review and validate geological, structural, and geotechnical logging
✅ Oversee geological logging, laboratory results, and QAQC controls
✅ Integrate geological, geochemical, and geophysical datasets to support exploration decisions
✅ Maintain geological database quality, technical records, and data organization standards
✅ Prepare consolidated technical reports for review by the Exploration Manager
✅ Coordinate and provide technical leadership to exploration geologists and field teams
✅ Ensure all activities comply with company Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements
What We’re Looking For
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Geology
✔ Active professional registration with CREA
✔ Minimum 10 years of mineral exploration experience
✔ Demonstrated experience coordinating mapping, geochemical sampling, and drilling programs
✔ Strong geological modelling and integrated data interpretation capabilities
✔ Experience in exploration target generation and prioritization
✔ Strong knowledge of geological logging, QAQC protocols, and technical data management
✔ Working knowledge of Brazilian mining regulations and environmental requirements
✔ Proven technical leadership and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary field teams
Highly Desirable
➕ Postgraduate studies in Economic Geology or Geoprocessing
➕ Experience with LCT pegmatite systems or strategic and critical minerals exploration
➕ Proficiency in geological modelling software such as Leapfrog, Micromine, or Datamine
➕ Experience applying 3D geological modelling to target generation
➕ Ability to communicate in Portuguese and English
➕ First Aid and 4WD certifications
