About the Role
Rivaz Inc. is seeking an experienced Exploration Manager – Brazil to lead the safe, efficient, and effective execution of our exploration programs.
Reporting to the Head of Exploration – Brazil, this position will oversee day-to-day exploration operations, coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, manage contractors and consultants, and ensure programs are delivered in accordance with approved technical plans, budgets, corporate standards, and Brazilian regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do
✅ Manage the execution of exploration programs across multiple projects
✅ Coordinate geological mapping, geochemical and geophysical surveys, drilling campaigns, and field activities
✅ Lead and develop exploration personnel while supervising contractors and technical consultants
✅ Provide technical recommendations on exploration targets, drilling priorities, and project advancement
✅ Review and validate geological data, interpretations, exploration results, and technical reports
✅ Manage exploration budgets, schedules, resources, and operational performance within delegated authority
✅ Implement strong exploration data management and QA/QC practices
✅ Identify geological and operational risks and recommend effective mitigation measures
✅ Ensure compliance with Brazilian mining, environmental, occupational health, and safety requirements
✅ Promote a strong safety culture, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement across all exploration activities
What We’re Looking For
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Geology
✔ At least 10–15 years of mineral exploration experience, including management or supervisory responsibilities
✔ Demonstrated experience planning and executing exploration programs across multiple projects
✔ Strong experience managing drilling campaigns, field operations, multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and consultants
✔ Advanced knowledge of geological mapping, target generation, geochemistry, geophysics, drilling, and geological interpretation
✔ Experience managing exploration budgets, schedules, operational resources, and project risks
✔ Proficiency with geological software, GIS applications, and exploration data management systems
✔ Strong understanding of Brazilian mining legislation, environmental regulations, and occupational health and safety requirements
✔ Strong leadership, communication, planning, and decision-making capabilities
Highly Desirable
⭐ Experience with LCT pegmatite systems, lithium, or other critical minerals
⭐ Experience advancing projects from early-stage exploration through resource definition and project development
⭐ Experience managing large-scale or multi-rig drilling programs
⭐ Postgraduate qualification in Economic Geology, Mineral Exploration, or a related discipline
⭐ Experience working for an international or publicly listed mining company
⭐ Professional working proficiency in Portuguese and English
